PACCAR Parts instals first power supply system at DAF dealer

PACCAR Parts Europe has successfully implemented an on-site power supply system at BEST Trucks, DAF Electric Truck Center in Barendrecht, the Netherlands. This so called ‘microgrid’ consists of a combination of 750 roof mounted solar panels, an energy storage system and advanced energy control systems. The microgrid can supercharge trucks leaving the workshop and also powers a public super-fast charger.

State Highway 1 traffic in north Waikato will be passing through Rangiriri at 110km/h by Easter.
The 4.8km section of the Waikato Expressway had extensive work in the months before Christmas last year, and a final surface will be applied in March now those repairs have bedded in.

A stretch of State Highway 1, at the southern entrance to Foxton, will be under stop/go traffic management between Sunday 3 March and Tuesday 5 March as crews make progress on the Levin to Foxton safety improvements project.
The work will take place each night between 6pm and 6am. During the day, the site will be open to two lanes of traffic. At all times, the temporary speed limit of 30 km/h, which is already in place, will apply.
