The 2025 State of the Fleet Survey takes the pulse of the industry across some key topics of interest; EV and Hydrogen, fuel prices, driver availability and more. 

The survey was run for the first time last year and resulted in some interesting insights including 85% of respondents being negatively impacted by fluctuating fuel prices and 70% opting to use contract drivers in some capacity. 

"Perhaps the most interesting insight was that 76% of respondents saw proof of delivery as being a priority yet relatively few appear to be using software to solve this issue - with just 45% having a solution to hand," explains Roy Moody, vWork CEO. "It will be interesting to see if this has shifted in this year's survey as we have seen significant improvement to business profitability where proof-of-delivery has been implemented."

For the first time the 2025 survey results will be able to show a year on year comparison. "While it is not intended to be a statistically significant survey," says Roy Moody.  "It is - however - hopefully a useful view of industry sentiment across some key industry themes that will help us all develop a better understanding of the best way forward." The survey closes on 5th September. Anyone across the industry, with a fleet, is invited to participate.
