A full northbound closure is required on State Highway 1 (SH1) between Oteha Valley Road and the Silverdale interchange for three nights in mid-July for road surface maintenance. 

The closures will be in place between 9pm and 5am on Monday 13, Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 July .

Road users are asked to take the recommended detour via Oteha Valley Road and Dairy Flat Highway while the closure is in place. There will be no access to bpConnect Dairy Flat. 

Nearby properties may experience increased noise levels while the team complete the work. 

These works are weather dependent and may change from the advertised dates. 

Contingency shifts have been scheduled for overnight Thursday 16 July.
