Mack Trucks Australia has revealed its latest innovation in power plants. The company is set to launch ‘its most powerful engine yet’, along with a range of advanced safety features included in the all-new Euro 6 engine lineup. 

This groundbreaking release introduces an array of Mack drivetrains that includes the impressive 780hp 17-litre MP11 engines. These engines boast a whopping 3800Nm of torque, illustrating Mack's commitment to providing top-notch performance and power. 

Aus customers now have the opportunity to order from the new Mack Trucks Euro 6 range, with the first vehicles slated to hit the roads in early 2025. The highly anticipated range is expected to elevate Mack's offerings, as the Super-Liner model has already held the title of Australia's most powerful conventional truck for over a decade.

Driving the evolution of Mack's powertrain is the arrival of the new MP8HE (high efficiency) engine platform. With a torque output of 2800Nm, this engine surpasses the capabilities of Mack's standard MP8 engine, promising enhanced performance and efficiency.

Improved visibility and safety were priorities for Mack, leading to the integration of the Bendix Wingman Fusion system and a new infotainment system. These features, alongside a standard rear-view camera, aim to maximise driver awareness and minimise accidents on the road.

The Euro 6 Super-Liner and Titan products will offer a fully integrated 70-inch walk-through sleeper. Customers will have the choice of single or double bunks, ensuring comfort and convenience during long-haul journeys.
