Coda Group, a leading New Zealand-based logistics provider, announces today that our Auckland 3PL Transport, Auckland Freight Station (FAK), and Rolleston DC has been sold to ACFS Port Logistics NZ Limited.
The transition is expected to be completed by 1 May 2025. This change does not impact Coda Group’s 4PL, Bay of Plenty and Savill Drive operations.
Coda Group was established in 2015 to provide a fully integrated logistics solution spanning imports, exports, warehousing, freight hubs, and freight management for the New Zealand market. Over the past decade, the company has grown by uniting several heritage freight and transport brands under the Coda umbrella, delivering high-quality service to a wide range of customers.
ACFS Port Logistics, founded by Terry and Arthur Tzaneros in Australia, has built a reputation as a highly successful, family-led business offering “Port to Final-Mile” container freight solutions. Since its inception in 2005, ACFS has expanded its network across all major port cities in Australia and become the largest privately owned container logistics operator. ACFS entered the New Zealand market in late 2023 with a commitment to operational excellence and customer-centric solutions.
“Our 3PL business has thrived by leveraging deep expertise and strong customer relationships. By transitioning to ACFS, we’re ensuring our Auckland 3PL Transport, Auckland Freight Station (FAK) and Rolleston DC has the scale, resources, and growth opportunities it needs to excel in the increasingly competitive freight sector” said Deena Clarkson, Chief Executive at Coda Group.
“We’re honoured to welcome Coda Group’s 3PL freight and logistics team into the ACFS family,” said Arthur Tzaneros, CEO & Managing Director, ACFS.
“Coda’s capabilities, overall service offering, reputation and specialist knowledge replicate our existing capabilities in Australia, and together we will provide an even more compelling value proposition for customers throughout New Zealand as we look to aggressively expand our presence as a major containerised logistics provider.”
The remainder of Coda Group, including its freight optimisation (4PL) business, is positioned for growth and will continue to focus on investing and pursuing strategic opportunities within the evolving logistics landscape.
