Booth’s Logistics has unveiled plans to bolster their operations with the introduction of new freight depots in key locations, signalling an expansion of their services across the North Island.

The company is set to inaugurate a revamped freight hub in Auckland on Monday, August 12. The new facility, situated at 32 Bell Ave, Mount Wellington, replaces the existing hub in Manurewa's Browns Road. This strategic relocation aims to enhance Booth’s Logistics' service capabilities, providing increased capacity and operational efficiency crucial for supporting their north and south-bound freight networks.

Leading the charge at the Auckland branch is Maree Smith, who brings her experience from managing the Rotorua branch to oversee operations in the bustling Auckland market.

Simultaneously, Booth’s Logistics unveiled a state-of-the-art cross-dock facility in New Plymouth, located at 1/220 De Havilland Drive, Bell Block. This move signifies the company’s commitment to bolstering its footprint in the Taranaki region and enhancing service coverage for customers in and out of the area.

The New Plymouth branch will operate seamlessly with daily services connecting the region to Palmerston North and Auckland. Customers in New Plymouth can now access overnight services across the North Island and benefit from a swift 2-3 day service linking into Booth's South Island networks.

To helm the New Plymouth operations, Booth’s Logistics has appointed Wayne Mehrtens, a seasoned professional with extensive logistics experience in the local Taranaki market.

Angus Petrie, the General Manager of Freight at Booth’s Logistics, expressed enthusiasm about these developments, affirming the company's commitment to providing top-notch logistics solutions and expanding their network to better serve customers nationwide.

“We are constantly striving to improve our services and provide you with the support you need to streamline your logistics processes. If you have any questions or require further information about these updates, please don’t hesitate to reach out,” says Petrie.
