In a gesture of appreciation for New Zealand's transport professionals, Axiom and Safety n Action are hosting a "Smoko break shout" for the trucking community on Monday, September 29th.

The event will take place at the popular BP Bombay truck stop, a well-known hub for drivers, starting at the "rise n shine" hour of 6 a.m. The companies are inviting all "Trucking legends, dab hand drivers, machinery marvels and everything in between" to stop by for a free coffee, pie, and a "Mother Truckin' goodie bag."

In a lighthearted call to action, the organisers have announced that to receive the free smoko, drivers simply need to pull over and "shout 'I’m a Trucking legend'".

Representatives from Axiom, along with their brand spanking new truck, will be on-site to meet with drivers and distribute the giveaways. The event is scheduled to continue until the pies and goodie bags have all been claimed.

This community-focused initiative by Safety n Action, a Papamoa-based company, highlights an effort to connect directly with the individuals who form the backbone of the transport industry.

The choice of the Bombay BP was strategic, with the announcement acknowledging it as a place where "trucking legends can be found inhabiting" in search of coffee and pies.
