EDM Campaigns are populated using a WebApp. (This is demonstrated in the screencast below).  

To see the end result go to https://nztruckdriver.worldsecuresystems.com/road-torque-newsletter-archive and choose the DEMO item.

The EDM WebApp allows you to select Road Torque stories to show in the campaign as well as upload ad banners and/or show custom content if needed.  Once prepared via the webapp, you will then use the Email Marketing module to send it to your newsletter subscribers.
