NRC needs your help with the 2020 Roading Campaign
Posted: 15-Jul-2020 |

Following on from our successful 2019 roading campaign which was presented to parliament and acknowledged by the Minister of Transport Hon. Phil Twyford, we would like to announce that National Road Carriers will be raising this issue once again for 2020.

It has been made clear to us that New Zealand roads continue to be in a state of decline causing major safety issues, increased R&M and heightened driver stress levels. Therefore, once again, we need to demonstrate to the authorities and politicians that something must be done about this major concern. Now is the time to get people back to work and making our roads safer for everyone.

We need your help to identify these areas of disrepair, highlighting potholes, shoulder collapses, uneven surfaces and any other safety concerns regarding the road condition. There are many ways you can do this depending on your situation and where you are. Options are as follows:

Sharing photos (if you can take them safely) and locations to our Facebook page.
Emailing them to enquiries@natroad.co.nz
The new National Road Carriers texting service. Simply text the photo and location to 021011665060
National Road Carriers Roading Complaints portal following this link https://www.natroad.co.nz

We have given you many options to make this as easy and efficient as possible and urge you to send as many as you safely can to help deliver the strong message that our roads are still not fit for purpose.

Thank you from the Team at NRC
